The Delhi police on Tuesday arrested 2 persons, including news portal NewsClick's founder Prabir Purkayastha, in connection with a probe in portal's foreign funding. As many as 46 suspects were questioned, digital devices and documents were seized.

A bear had to be killed by conservation officers Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle along Highway 1 in Abbotsford. APD says officers received reports of a bear in the median, east of Whatcom and No. 3 roads just after 7:30 a.m.

After a spike of around 10 cents per litre last week, the price of gas in Metro Vancouver is expected to drop by as much as 21 cents by Wednesday. Experts predicted prices would stay high for some time but now a drop to 184 cents is possible.
