BC’s New Democrats posted victories in byelections on southern Vancouver Island & downtown Vancouver Saturday. Joan Phillip won in Vancouver-Mount Pleasant (with almost 68% votes) while Ravi Parmar won in Langford-Juan de Fuca (with 53% votes).
